1. Why do we say that DNA replication is semi-conservative?

    We say that DNA replication is semi-conservative because in each new, replicated strand of DNA, only one strand from the original DNA is conserved.

  2. DNA is semi conservative because each new DNA molecule has one strand of DNA from the old molecule of DNA, so we conserve one strand of DNA for each new molecule
