What is the polypeptide sequence the given gene codes for?

  1. I thought that was pretty fun. I did everything right the first time! Well, almost everything, I hadto look for the codon AUG for the starter amino acid Methionine. The polypeptide sequence is Met-Lau-Asp-Val-Phe, for Methionine-Laucine-Aspartic Acid-Valine-Aspartic Acid. Then the codon UAG codes for the synthesis of the protein to stop.

  3. Yeah, that helped a lot!

The polypeptide sequence the given gene codes for is Met-Leu-Asp-Val-Phe, and it stopped at the codon UAG. And because I'm not as WONDERFULLY WONDERFUL as Anjelika, I have no clue what those amino acids stand for. :)
